Account, password and security
Confirming your email
After you register, we send a confirmation link to your email. You can carry on setting up your shop straight away without clicking it, but a few things wait for it: live card payments, connecting a custom domain, and giving staff their own logins. Resend the confirmation email from the dashboard banner if you need to.
Password
Change your password under Settings, Your login. Changing it signs you out on every other device. If you forget it, use "Forgot password" on the login page to get a reset link by email. The link works once, for one hour, and only while your login email is the address it was sent to. get a reset link by email. The link works once, for one hour, and only while your login email is still the address it was sent to.
Staff logins
Give staff their own logins under Settings, Staff, so you're not sharing one password around. It comes with every plan. Add the person with their email address, then pick Staff, Manager or Owner and set a starting password for them. Their email is their username: they type it, with that password, on the same login page you use. Press Copy sign-in details or Send on WhatsApp on their row to send them the address and username (the password is never included, give it to them yourself). They change it to their own under Your page. Each staff member can be limited to only the parts of the dashboard they need, and "Can handle money" controls whether they can refund orders, mark orders paid, see takings, or ring up a custom-priced sale, separately from everything else they can do.
Order alerts on your phone
Under Settings, Security, press Turn on alerts on this device and allow notifications. From then on a new order buzzes that phone or computer, like a shop app, and tapping the alert opens the order. Do it on each device you want alerts on; each login turns alerts on for itself. Send a test alert checks it works, and Turn off stops a device.
On an Android phone, Chrome also offers to install the dashboard as an app. On an iPhone or iPad, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, open the dashboard from your home screen and turn alerts on there. Staff without money access get the alert without the order total.
Does it work when the browser is closed? On an Android phone with Chrome, yes: the alert comes even with Chrome closed. On an iPhone or iPad, yes, once the dashboard is on the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or newer) and you turned alerts on from that icon. On a computer, only while the browser is running, even in the background or with the dashboard tab closed.
If it says alerts could not be switched on: In Brave, open brave://settings/privacy, turn on Use Google services for push messaging, restart Brave and try again. On an iPhone or iPad, add the dashboard to the Home Screen first and turn alerts on from that icon. If notifications are blocked, allow them for this site in the browser (the icon at the left of the address bar, then Site settings, then Notifications), or on iPhone under Settings, Notifications, then reload and try again.
Logging out
Logging out from any device ends that session properly; it can't be triggered by just visiting a link, and an old session is refused the moment it's revoked.
Keeping your account secure
Use a real password you don't reuse elsewhere. If anything about your account looks wrong, contact us straight away: [email protected] or WhatsApp 073 429 5517.
If you think someone else got into your account, change your password first. That signs out every other device and disconnects any AI app you connected, and you connect it again afterwards. It does not touch API keys, because those keep your own software running: open API keys and revoke any key you don't recognise.
Still stuck? [email protected] or WhatsApp 073 429 5517.
